Mel and Ticket do the dog show at MSU!

Mel was in both Sat and Sun and Mel won her first point!! She defeated 2 other girls. She got Reserve (runner up winner - overall 2nd place) the next day.....Ticket was entered on Sunday only. His first show.....his mom's first time showing....they got a Reserve!! Second place overall! Runner up winner! If for any reason, the winner should ever be disqualified, Ticket would be the winner. That's a great start. A very nice beginning to his show career (and Laura's new show career too!!) Good job, guys! Well done. You will learn more every show. You WILL be the winner soon. Ticket looked good. He moved beautifully and his gorgeous head and lovely bone and movement.....he will be an awesome looking boy when he matures...he looks good now and this is the gangly teenage stage...I just can't wait to see how he looks in a year. He'll be a knockout, if he looks this good now! (I can't believe I didn't get any pictures!)

Mel's show pic will be posted when it arrives. She's on her way to a show championship too. They are making their mama and daddy proud. :)

Maggie is such a good hunter, now, just like her mama :)

Pointed 18 birds, 18 birds shot (good job, Jason!!) and most retrieved!!! Very proud of her! Greta is too :)

hellooooo new puppy homes.........

I NEED TO SEE SOME PICTURES OF YOUR PUPPIES!! Tiny is asking about her children. Please send me some. I miss them all.

We took breast meat out and gave Greta back her bird. She sat by it all night long :)

grouse and pheasant hunt

we went to Oscoda/Tawas/Spruce on a grouse hunt and another day, on a pheasant hunt.

Girls LOVED it. Greta is the most awesome hunter. She is now retrieving without any training. She is so proud of her birds. Mel and Tiny are ok too but Greta is so awesome it's hard to compare them. pics of Max and dogs and birds :)

Mel's show debut weekend

Baby Mel was in her first shows this weekend. Thanks to Katie Moceri for showing her for me since my knee won't let me run anymore. Baby Mel is just that...a baby. She looked very nice and acted nice and moved well with Katie but she just looked so much like a baby compared to her competition. Her day will come when she stops looking like a little baby that you just want to wrap in a blanket and cuddle :). She went around the ring on 4 feet (not 2), didn't poop in the ring, and didn't bite the judge (LOL) so I was very pleased with her. :)

Ace maintains his winning ways!!

Monroe shows on the weekend....Ace wins Winners Dog and Best of Winners on Sat and Sun for another point each day. He now has 10 points and one of his two majors.....one more major and only 5 total points and that baby boy is a Show CHAMPION!! His mother will be so thrilled to have a Champion son!!! :)
